Delivery and Refunds Policy

Your payment will be processed on receipt of your order, as all subscriptions are by their nature prepaid transactions. Your new subscription will start with the next issue produced after receipt of your order. Your copy of each issue will be posted at the South African Post Office within two working days of completion of the print order by the Printer.

Back copies or other items which may be supplied ex stock, will be posted within 2-3 working days of receipt of the order.

The subscription is for the number of issues specified, and not for any specific time or calendar period. If the frequency of publication should be changed in future, subscribers will be advised accordingly.

If you are at any stage dissatisfied with the magazine, you may cancel your subscription by sending an e-mail with your details to subs@villagelife.co.za. or by fax to 028 514 2540 or by post to P O Box 242, Swellendam 6740, South Africa. The remaining portion of your subscription will then be refunded promptly. Please include details of a South African bank account to enable a direct deposit. If a refund is required into an overseas bank account, the bank fees and commissions will be deducted from any such refund, and no refund will be made if the amount to be refunded is less than the bank fees and commissions.

The staff at Village Life will do their utmost to provide a prompt and efficient service to subscribers, but we cannot be held responsible for magazines lost in the post.

Payment Options

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). Apart from this Credit Card payment facility, subscriptions may be submitted by means of a faxed or mailed order form obtainable here, which may be paid by cheque, a direct deposit at your bank branch or by Internet banking. Payments at Automatic Teller Machines are not acceptable.

Security Policy

1. All credit card transactions on this site are processed by Virtual Card Services. All such transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The VCS company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.

2. Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

3.The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
